Studying at NWTC

NWTC Workshops are a lively engaging place to train as future engineers.

We aim to train and assess engineering apprentices to fulfill their potential and be proactive, visionary, disciplined employees.

NWTC Workshops are state of the art and designed to simulate industry experience. Bright, light and clean, they are conducive to dedicated engineering learning.

All our instructors have a technical background, and their expertise will help you understand the discipline you are studying. Whether this is mechanical maintenance, manufacturing, electrical, electronics, fluid power, PLC, welding or fitting, your training and assessment will be delivered by experts in their specialism.

Your company will be kept informed of your progress and will visit you at our Centre. You will be able to show them the challenging yet enjoyable training and assessment tasks you have undertaken.

NWTC was set up in 1963 by engineering companies who needed quality apprentices. We have continued and maintained this ethos for over fifty years.
