Safeguarding and Prevent
NWTC is committed to providing a secure environment for learners, where they feel safe and are kept safe. All staff at the NWTC recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility irrespective of the role they undertake or whether their role has direct contact or responsibility for learners or not.
NWTC has a Safeguarding Policy which incorporates PREVENT. We have two Safeguarding Officers one of which are also holda an Mental Health and Suicide 1st Aider qualifications.

Apprentices are given contact numbers for The Safeguarding Team at Induction. These numbers can also be found on their badges and are displayed around the centre.
